Charleston, South Carolina

My heart has fallen in love with Charleston and it goes beyond the cobblestone streets and colorful houses. For me It's the different cultures that intertwine and the assorted stories the locals tell. It's the casual morning walks to brunch and late evening sunsets that take your breath away. It's the locals saying the smell of pluff mud is their favorite because that is how they know they are home, its the confederate Jasmine that gracefully wraps herself around the arbors and offers her gentle scent to those walking by. It's that first sip of my favorite Holy City Brewery sour beer. It was setting my alarm for 4:30 on a Sunday morning so I could watch the sun wake up on folly Beach. It's the people that know it's a blessing to live here, it's the pride of their community and the heart of the Holy City that instantly makes you feel welcomed. It's the passion the locals have as they tell you about their favorite things and seeing their faces light up. It's the live life in your own lane kind of mentality that is hard to find in the South, it's the Charleston charm that has me absolutely swooning.  History seeps around every corner, palm trees sway in the breeze, long bridges with views of diverse waterways, there is something new to explore with every turn you make. It's the ever growing Charleston bucket list that I feel I won't ever have completely checked off.

When you fall in love with Charleston make sure to come back and tell me what it was for you!

I would love to hear about it.
